Low Flute Choir
The Low Flute Choir will be directed by Chris Potter and is your opportunity to perform in an ensemble made up of altos, basses, contra altos, and contra basses in C and G. Rehearsals are separate from the Festival Choir and take place throughout the week, with a performance during the Grand Finale Concert. Students are encouraged to bring their own low flutes and some instruments are made available to borrow. Many of the flutes for this choir are graciously loaned to us by Musikpunkt and the great low flute maker Eva Kingma, for which we are extremely grateful.
All active participants are eligible to be in the choir. If you are interested in playing with the Low Flutes Choir, be sure to indicate that on your application form or email us directly. Students are assigned parts ahead of the festival and given their music during check-in.
